Telli Health partnered with eSIM specialist Eseye, a pioneer of leading-edge IoT connectivity solutions, to operate on all major carriers globally. Having access to Eseye’s localization and roaming partners, Telli Health can access over 750+ networks globally in 191 countries, utilizing a secure, reliable connection that is central to its value proposition. This is achieved through its AnyNet+ eSIM, featuring an embedded eUICC and multi-IMSI capabilities, which ensures Telli Health devices are always attached to the strongest network.

Telli Health’s biometric devices can be deployed anywhere globally, which is critical given SpO2 is a crucial biometric that indicates how effectively a patient is breathing and how well blood is being transported throughout the body – a key indicator for COVID-19 patients.

“We are honored to be recognized for our innovation and momentum in the connected healthcare market with this 2022 MedTech Breakthrough Award,” said Will Dos Santos, Telli Health Head of Sales. “This award is a testament to the talent and dedication of the hard-working Telli Health and Eseye teams. It is clear that there was a gap in the market for accurate, reliable RPM devices, and Telli Health has taken the RPM market by storm.”

added,

“Telli Health is incredibly deserving of this award – its advanced RPM solutions are having an immense impact on both healthcare patients and providers. For example, they are helping to reduce systolic and diastolic patient blood pressures by 30mmHG and improving unique daily data transmissions by 73%. Telli Health has achieved massive success in a short time in the remote IoT healthcare market driven by our unmatched global connectivity that works straight out of the box.”

Eseye Enables Telli Health to Launch First eUICC-Certified Remote Patient Monitoring Devices

Eseye’s Award-Winning AnyNet+ eSIMs and Cellular IoT Expertise Enable Telli Health to Achieve Verizon Network Device and eUICC Certification.

Guildford, UK – April 6, 2022 – Eseye, a pioneer of leading-edge global IoT connectivity solutions, today announced that it has enabled Telli Health’s innovative range of global remote patient monitoring (RPM) devices, including a blood pressure monitor, blood glucometer, pulse oximeter, and thermometer, to become the first in the global healthcare device marketplace to achieve eUICC certification on Verizon’s award-winning 4G LTE network in the United States.

With Verizon as part of Eseye’s global federation of connectivity partners, Eseye can offer IoT connectivity across the U.S. through its award-winning AnyNet+ eSIM, featuring an embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC) and multi-IMSI capabilities, which can ensure Telli Health devices stay connected to the Verizon network.

Device certification on Verizon’s LTE network means that a device is confirmed to be technically compliant with and fully functional on the network. By attaining device and eUICC certification on Verizon’s expansive LTE network, Telli Health can scale its RPM solution across the U.S. medical IoT market, incorporating Verizon mobile connectivity that has been awarded #1 for Wireless Network Quality a record 28 times in a row by J.D. Power.

Telli Health selected Eseye to manage this process end-to-end, utilizing Eseye’s unrivaled technical device and network expertise to achieve eUICC certification.

Working with Eseye, Telli Health successfully achieved certification, including:

  • Device preparation and behavior analysis.
  • Onboarding with AnyNet+ eUICC eSIMs to ensure the RPM device responds to changing connectivity environments.
  • Testing the device and ensuring it has passed tests for eUICC-compliant network switching.
  • Launching the device and enabling eUICC localization to Verizon once devices are live.

Will Dos Santos, Head of Sales, Telli Health emphasizes the importance of Verizon certification to Telli Health
:

“Achieving certification onto Verizon catapults us above our competitors and ensures our patients can reliably use our RPM devices even in more remote and rural areas. Eseye’s technical expertise and support was invaluable during the certification process. Verizon certification has positioned Telli Health for further success in the RPM market, with plans to deploy a total of 300,000 devices by the end of 2022.”

Erik Varney, Managing Director, Telematics and Industrial IoT, Verizon Business, added,

“eUICC is transforming global IoT connectivity for business. It’s enabling the multinational enterprise to achieve interoperability and securely connect their devices locally to Verizon’s leading LTE network for IoT. Eseye and Telli Health are key contributors in establishing this cutting-edge service for the market, utilizing Verizon’s long-heralded network performance and reliability.”

Reliable connectivity central to Telli Health’s RPM proposition

Telli Health decided to design and build bespoke hardware so it could provide the best and most efficient solution for patients and healthcare providers.

To achieve this, it knew a multi-network approach was essential to deliver the reliable, ubiquitous connectivity fundamental to ensuring the accuracy of its RPM solutions. However, this introduced challenges in terms of device network certification and roaming capabilities, something that healthcare decision makers in Eseye’s 2021 research cited as a major issue.

This is where the Eseye AnyNet+ eSIM’s ability to localize onto the Verizon network was a critical factor for Telli Health. Verizon’s LTE network is essential for enabling devices beyond just population centers and into rural and under-served communities, where access to healthcare is difficult. A reliable connection is essential to deliver a steady stream of patient data, whilst building patient and doctor confidence in RPM solutions, potentially leading to better health outcomes and more efficient healthcare resource allocation in the future.

Since partnering with Eseye, Telli Health has witnessed:

  • A 73% improvement in unique daily data transmissions, whereby reliable connectivity can provide data in real time.
  • A 67% reduction in patient churn.
  • A 94% reduction in support costs; RPM devices work out-of-the-box, leading to an 80% increase in patient onboarding times.

Nick Earle, CEO, Eseye concludes:

“Eseye is uniquely positioned in the market to offer a superior level of specialist technical support for customers, such as Telli Health, to achieve eUICC certification onto the required network, including Verizon’s in the US. Adoption of eSIM technology in multi-country IoT deployments, where devices can seamlessly localize onto the network with the strongest signal, is only going to increase. Similarly, we expect to see a growing requirement for a managed-services approach to IoT, which can guide customers from ideation and proof of concept, through the design, development, and deployment of global IoT solutions at scale.”

Paving the Way for Globally Accessible Healthcare, Telli Health Becomes First Medical IoT Device Provider to Launch an Approved eUICC eSIM Solution in the US

MIAMI, FL, January 27, 2022 – Telli Health today announced a partnership with leading eSIM connectivity vendor Eseye to provide embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC) eSIM cards for all remote patient monitoring (RPM) devices that can roam on any cellular network.

Telli Health is the first in the marketplace to launch an eUICC-certified medical IoT device that is approved to connect to US networks, including Verizon, the largest wireless carrier in the US. This will allow access to quality healthcare with the press of a button for people who typically have difficulties accessing such healthcare, particularly in rural and under-served communities. Regardless of location, RPM devices will continue to maintain a seamless connection with their providers.

This aims to boost patients’ and physicians’ trust in their RPM devices and enables patients to take readings from anywhere in the world, uploading into their existing electronic health records (EHR) within seconds. Without a continuous connection, RPM devices cannot transmit readings, forcing patients and healthcare providers to utilize less convenient alternatives.

Eseye eUICC eSIM cards operate on all major carriers globally. By partnering with Eseye and having access to its localization and roaming partners, Telli Health can access over 700 networks globally in 190 countries, utilizing a secure, reliable connection that is central to its value proposition.

Alvaro Salgado, Sales Executive at Telli Health, commented, “Easy access to healthcare for everyone should always be available and I am very pleased that we have partnered with a company that is revolutionizing IoT connectivity to make global IoT deployments easy, reliable, and secure. Cellular-enabled medical devices are the future and Eseye will help us increase access to concierge-level care anywhere on the planet with effortless roaming. IoT connected medical devices come at a particularly opportune time, given our large Baby Boomer population, which traditionally can struggle with adopting new technology. You can now effortlessly have a check-in with your doctor from home with the press of a button. This is a huge improvement from the traditional healthcare model and helps keep patients out of the hospital, while reducing the cost of care.”

Nick Earle, CEO at Eseye, added, “Healthcare devices need 100% connectivity at all times in all locations, which is not possible without an advanced, cloud-based eUICC connectivity solution. Moreover, it is critical that medical devices can localize to major networks, such as Verizon, to prevent permanent roaming issues and subsequent loss of service, as well as maintain accurate and reliable RPM readings. We are proud to support Telli Health in its mission to help healthcare providers treat patients remotely, thereby significantly minimizing patients’ risks of serious, adverse health outcomes.”

Telli Health Delivers World’s First 4G Cellular-Connected SpO2 Pulse Oximeter for COVID-19 Patients

Pulse Oximeter Works Globally on All Major Cellular Carriers in 191 Countries to Simplify Out-patient Care for COVID-19 Patients

MIAMI, FL, December 20, 2021Telli Health today announced the delivery of the first FDA certified and approved 4G cellular-connected SpO2 pulse oximeter, addressing the unprecedented demand seen during the pandemic for remote patient monitoring (RPM) devices, particularly SpO2 pulse oximeter, to track COVID-19 patients.

The pulse oximeter rounds out Telli Health’s complete 4G package to measure and detect common physiological parameters. These devices also include a touchless thermometer, blood pressure monitor, blood glucometer, and weight scale, and serve as a complete COVID-19 kit to monitor pre- and post-discharged patients without any additional equipment required. Patient data is automatically transmitted directly into their existing health record and are available to their provider immediately, all from the comfort and safety of their home.

Telli Health’s Cellular SpO2 pulse oximeter, along with its other RPM devices, are valuable as an alternative to COVID-19 hospital admissions – they help reduce the spread of the virus and help free up hospital space for other emergencies, altogether improving healthcare delivery.

Telli Health Director of Product Support Alvaro Salgado, commented, “The pulse oximeter is the main device used to monitor COVID patients, so I am thrilled that our 4G cellular-connected SpO2 pulse oximeter is now being delivered to providers – Telli Health is responding to that demand. Providers have reported in the past that COVID patients indicated that they were feeling fine, when oxygen saturation levels were quite low. Our cellular-connected SpO2 pulse oximeter will alert providers of a problem and give them ample time to act accordingly. Our pulse oximeter is also significantly advantageous for its ease of use and low power requirements. This revolutionary technology will allow patients to remain at their hospital-in-home to recover in a familiar place in lieu of a traditional hospital room.”

Telli Health devices use SIM technology that connects to all major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile/ Sprint, providing a solution to patients in the most rural and remote areas, improving accessibility and allowing more patients to be reached.

Telli Health Announces Verizon Certification, Becomes First Medical IoT Device Company To Operate on America’s Largest and Most Reliable Cellular Network

All Telli Health Devices Can Now Use Verizon Cellular Network, Further Boosting Reliability, Accessibility, and Ease of Use for Patients Everywhere

MIAMI, FL, November 30, 2021Telli Health today announced that it has been certified by Verizon, allowing all of its devices to operate on Verizon, America’s largest and most reliable cellular network. With Verizon’s vast cellular footprint, patients can take a reading from anywhere and know it will be sent instantly to their provider. Telli Health’s connected care devices are the first and only Verizon-certified devices in the United States.

The remote patient monitoring (RPM) industry has long suffered from deficient reliability in transmitting patient readings, as well as the ability to take readings from anywhere. Being Verizon certified will improve this, and for healthcare providers and RPM companies, this means increased patient adherence—a primary goal for both.

Telli Health’s devices use SIM technology that connects to all major cellular carriers in the United States, including AT&T and T-Mobile/Sprint, in addition to Verizon. Globally, coverage includes over 650 cellular carriers in 191 countries.

Jeff Bartzen, Sales Executive at Telli Health, commented, “Our competitors typically use Bluetooth and antiquated third-party technology for their remote care medical devices. This presents problems ranging from connectivity issues to requiring cell phones and difficult pairing for an aging population. Our competitors are only now starting to use cellular connected devices—which is easier and the way of the future—but they only work on AT&T. I am very pleased that we have partnered with Verizon to deliver value-based in-home healthcare to more people than ever before, securing Telli Health as the premier destination for reliable, accurate, accessible, and easy-to-use connected care medical devices. Physicians can trust 4G cellular technology as a tremendous improvement over current devices plagued by connectivity issues and unreliability.”

According to a Telli Health case study with one of the industry’s leading RPM providers, from 2018 through 2020, options for cellular-connection blood pressure and blood glucose devices were very limited despite demand. From high rates of data transmission failures to issues related to accuracy and ease of use, the devices in the marketplace were not up to industry standards. Telli Health entered in 2021, offering 4G cellular-enabled devices that directly addressed these specific issues. Telli Health blood pressure monitors and glucometers consistently delivered accurate and reliable readings. The RPM company reported on average a 10 mmHg reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressures, with some patients seeing as much as 30 mmHg reductions. Also observed were increased patient satisfaction, a 50% reduction in patient churn due to accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data transmission using Telli Health devices, and an overall 30% improvement in daily compliance and successful transmissions in which providers received substantially more patient readings. Now being Verizon certified, Telli Health looks forward to expanding these successes with the world’s first touchless 4G Thermometer, 4G Weight Scale (December 2021), and the world’s first 4G Pulse Oximeter (December 2021).
